Al Pacino, the 84-year-old Oscar-winning actor, got a shock when he lost $50 million early in his career. He spilled the beans in his new book “Sonny Boy,” saying he didn’t watch his money and spent way too much.

Pacino, famous for his roles in “The Godfather” and “Scarface,” started making millions from his big movie roles. But he didn’t get into acting for the cash and didn’t know much about managing money.

The actor’s spending went off the rails. He paid $400,000 a year for a landscaper to take care of a house he didn’t even live in. He also ended up with 16 cars and 23 cell phones without realizing he was footing the bill for all of them.

“The kind of money I was spending and where it was going was just a crazy montage of loss,” Pacino said.

It wasn’t just Pacino’s wild spending that caused problems. People he didn’t know were living off his wealth too.

“The door was wide open and people who I didn’t know were living off me,” he revealed.

To make matters worse, Pacino’s accountant messed up big time with his money. The result? Pacino went from having $50 million to having nothing.

“I had $50 million and then I had nothing,” Pacino admitted.

Pacino’s story shines a light on how easy it is for Hollywood stars to lose track of their cash. It shows why it’s crucial to keep an eye on your spending and have someone trustworthy manage your money. Even big-name celebrities can fall victim to financial missteps and people looking to take advantage of their wealth.
